Junior (2019): Saw action in 11 games, making six starts between left field and designated hitter ... went 5-for-24 with two home runs, six RBI, five runs scored and two stolen bases ... was 1-for-4 with a solo home run against Youngstown State (Feb. 15) ... went 2-for-3 with two runs scored, three RBI and two stolen bases against Stanford ... homered against Texas State (Feb. 28).Â
Junior (2019): Utility player appeared in 40 games making 17 starts between left field (11), right field (2), catcher (2) and designated hitter (2)… went 16-for-76 with seven doubles, one triple, one home run, seven RBI and 11 runs scored… three multi-hit games… had a five-game reached base streak… made Houston debut as pinch hitter vs. Northwestern State (Feb. 16)… made first career start in series finale vs. Demons (Feb. 17)… went 2-for-3 with one double, one home run, one walk and two runs scored vs. Texas State (March 2) at the Shriners Hospitals for Children College Classic at Minute Maid Park… went 3-for-3 with a double and run scored vs. Army (March 8)… went 2-for-2 at No. 29 Sam Houston State (April 9).
Prior to Houston: Spent 2017 and 2018 seasons at Delgado Community College… helped Dolphins win back-to-back Region XXIII Championships… as a sophomore, posted a .379/.483/.627 slash with 64 hits, 13 doubles, one triple, nine home runs, 62 RBI and 10 stolen bases… garnered the NJCAA All-Academic Student-Athlete Award… as a freshman, posted .291/.429/.373 slash with six doubles, one home run and 11 RBI.
High School: Four-year letterwinner at Northshore High School… named First-Team District 6-5A as a junior and senior… also named All-Metro, All-State and Team MVP as a senior… batted .397 with 12 stolen bases… helped Panthers win the District 6-5A Championship as a junior… as a sophomore, named Second-Team All-District… was a Chancellor's Honors Graduate for posting a 4.0 GPA.
