SENIOR (2022)
- Named The American Player of the Week after homering in back-to-back games at East Carolina, driving in seven RBI in the two games (4/9-10).
- Homered in back-to-back games for the first time in her career at East Carolina (4/9-10).
- Posted the team’s longest hitting streak at eight games (2/20-3/4).
- Appeared in 51 games in the outfield, one of five Cougars to play 50+ games.
- Finished tied for first on the team in triples (1) and fielding for outfielders (.985).
- Finished third on the team in OPS (.809) and stolen bases (11).
- Finished fourth on the team in runs scored (25), doubles (5), RBIs (21), total bases (59), and slugging (.450).
- Finished fifth on the team in hits (34), and home runs (6).
JUNIOR (2021)
- Earned the first weekly accolade of her career from the conference being named to the Weekly Honor Roll (2/22).
- Led the team in runs scored (32) and stolen bases (15), both which ranked ranked eighth in the league.
- One of the five players to have started in all 50 games on the year, serving as the team’s primary right fielder with 37 starts at the position and 13 starts as the designated player.
- Began the season recording at least one hit in eight of the team’s first nine contests, batting .462 during that stretch.
- Strung together a reached base streak of 18 games, leading the team in average (.380), hits (19), doubles (6), triples (3), slugging percentage (.640), on-base percentage (.475) and stolen bases (7) in that span.
- Collected a season-high three hits against No. 2/3 Oklahoma (2/21), having launched a home run in the process as well.
- Finished the season on a tear, leading the team in batting average (.400), hits (12), total bases (20) and slugging percentage (.667) through the final 10 games of the year.
SOPHOMORE (2020)
- Finished the season leading the Cougars with a .467 OBP, a mark that ranked sixth in The American.
- Made 19 appearances on the year, having finished the season as one of two players on the team to score 20 or more runs.
- Began the year scoring a run in her first five appearances.
- Scored a career-high three runs in the win over UTEP (2/28).
- Launched the first home run of her career in walk-off fashion to take down New Mexico State (2/28).
- Scored at least one run in seven consecutive games (2/22 – 3/1).
- Helped lead Houston to its first 11-game winning streak since 2011, having ranked second on the team with a .412 batting average during that stretch.
FRESHMAN (2019)
- Helped lead Houston to a run in the NCAA Tournament, making an appearance in the championship game of the Austin Regional.
- Made her collegiate debut starting in left field in Houston’s season-opening win over No. 13/15 Kentucky (2/8), scoring her first run in the victory.
- Tallied the first hit of her career coming off the bench in the win over UConn (4/12).
- Stole the first base of her career in the win over Nevada (2/15).
PERSONAL
- Part of the National Honors Society in high school, as well as the Fellowship of Christian Athletes.
- Majoring in kinesiology with career aspirations to become a physical therapist.
- Volunteers to feed the homeless at RCFC Christmas store and helps clean up her community.
- Daughter of Robert and Lori Busch.
- Lists her parents as her biggest inspiration.
- Enjoys sleeping, watching scary movies and TV shows, going to the beach and being with friends.
