Reporting Possible Violations
Student-athletes and all employees of the Athletics Department and University at large are obligated to report any potential violation to the Office of Athletics Compliance. A University employee who in good faith reports a possible violation of NCAA or big 12c Conference rules will not suffer retaliation by the University.
Unless otherwise directed by the Director of Athletics, initial investigative work will be conducted by the Office of Athletics Compliance and findings will be reported to the Director of Athletics and other appropriate university staff. In all cases, the Office of Athletic Compliance in consultation with other staff, should immediately determine what steps must be taken to reduce the risk of a continuing or recurring violation.
Anyone can report a possible violation anonymously through the University of Houston Fraud & Non-Compliance Hotline or contact the Compliance staff directly. Additional information on UH reporting policies and procedures is available here.
