Louis Truscott is one of the nation's top rebounding leaders and leads Conference USA with eight double-double performances this season.

Truscott leads the league and ranks seventh nationally with 12.0 rebounds per game. He also leads the Cougars in scoring with 16.5 points per game. He has led Houston in scoring nine times and rebounding in the team's first 12 games.

Truscott was also a third-team All-Conference selection in 2001-02 and was one of three C-USA performers to record 13 double doubles. He was named the Conference USA Player of the Week three times.

Louis came to Houston in 2000-01 as a tranfer from Nebraska. A graduate of Milby High School in Houston, he played two seasons with the Cornhuskers. He is a psychology major with a minor in African American Studies at UH.
