Selected to the All-American Athletic Conference team for the second straight season... Helped the Cougars make the NCAA Tournament for a second straight season and tally a program-record 18-match winning streak... Rebounded from an early-season injury to finish 13-9 in singles matches, including an 11-8 spring mark and a 6-0 record against American Athletic Conference foes... Made her spring debut against No. 57 Washington State (2/6), with a 4-6, 6-3, 6-3 victory over Victoria Matejevic... Scored a huge victory in Houston's 4-3 win over No. 48 Utah (2/22), with a 3-6, 7-6 (8-6), 6-4 win over Jada Cheng... Came up with another win against No. 29 Dartmouth (3/28), defeating Jacqueline Crawford, 6-3, 6-2... Scored the clinching point in a win over No. 71 Tulsa (4/3), a 7-5, 7-6 (11-9) win over Marcelina Cichon that assured the Cougars of setting a program record with their 14th straight win... Followed that with a 6-7 (6-8), 6-2, 6-2 win over Agustina Valenzuela of North Texas (4/5)... Won American Player of the Week honors for the first time after her wins over TU and UNT... Defeated Tulsa's Cichon again in the American Championship finals (4/18), 3-6, 6-2, 6-3... Posted a 13-4 overall doubles record, with a team-best .765 pairs winning percentage... Went 10-4 in spring matches and 6-2 against American opponents... Won two of her three doubles matches at the American Championship... Went 2-1 in singles play in the fall season... Defeated opponents from Oklahoma State and Kansas State at the CCLR Collegiate Invitational... Finished 3-0 in doubles action and won her flight, along with Maria Cardenas, at the CCLR Collegiate Invitational... Scored an 8-4 triumph over Marija Milutinovic and Allie Robbins of Ole Miss in the final.
