Kaycee McCoy, Antrea Mita and Jamar Marshall Jr. set to represent Houston at NCAA Championships
FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. – Junior Antrea Mita, senior Kaycee McCoy and graduate Jamar Marshall Jr. will represent the University of Houston Track & Field program at the 2026 NCAA Indoor Track & Field Championships, beginning Friday at the Randal Tyson Track Center.

NCAA QUALIFIERS
Houston begins competition with McCoy making her NCAA Championships debut in the women's 60-meter hurdles semifinals at 6:45 p.m., Friday. Should she finish in the top eight, she will advance to the final scheduled for 5:50 p.m., Saturday. The senior qualified for NCAAs with a personal best time of 8.07 at the Robert Platt Invitational (Jan. 31).

Marshall Jr. will compete at his final collegiate meet in the 60-meter hurdles. Semifinals are scheduled for 6:55 p.m., Friday, with the top eight advancing to the 6 p.m., Saturday final. He secured his ticket to his fourth NCAA Indoor Championships after running a school-record time of 7.54 at the Don Kirby Elite Invitational (Feb. 14).

Mita earned his ticket to Fayetteville after posting a mark of 2.22m in the men's high jump at the Big 12 Indoor Championship. This is Mita's second consecutive NCAA Indoor Championships appearance, placing eighth at the 2025 edition to earn First Team All-America honors. The men's high jump will take place at 1:45 p.m., Saturday.
