Cougars Host Gridiron Classic Golf Tournament

Houston Football, LinkingCoogs host golf tournament to support football student-athletes
HOUSTON – Houston Football, with the tremendous support of LinkingCoogs, Houston's NIL collective, is hosting the Gridiron Classic golf tournament on Wednesday, May 28 at the Golf Club of Houston.
Various sponsorship tiers exist with exciting perks for each sponsorship opportunity ranging from registering as an individual to being a title sponsor. All proceeds will directly benefit the Houston Football student-athletes.
Competition will consist of foursomes beginning at 8 a.m. via a shotgun start with all participants receiving an exclusive gear bag and gift package.
A breakfast buffet will begin at 6:30 a.m. on May 28 with lunch served at 12:30 p.m. Meals and beverages are all-inclusive.

ABOUT GOLF CLUB OF HOUSTON
Home to the PGA Tour's Shell Houston Open and located in nearby Humble, Golf Club of Houston is situated on more than 900 scenic acres and includes two championship caliber courses. The Member Course, designed by the renowned Jim Hardy and Peter Jacobson, prepares Cougar student-athletes for the nation's top collegiate tournaments with challenging play and comfortable amenities.
When competing on the Tournament Course, current home of the Shell Houston Open, the Cougars must overcome numerous challenges on the par-72, 7,457-yard course designed by Rees Jones and David Toms. The course features wetlands filled with native plants and flowers and is lush with oak, pine and cypress trees.
