Cougars collect pair of singles wins on final day of tournament
WACO, Texas – The University of Houston Tennis team wrapped up the H-E-B Invite with a pair of singles victories at the Hurd Tennis Center on Sunday.
In the final of the green singles bracket, sophomore Valeriia Krokhotina fell to Baylor's Wenfei Yu, 6-3, 6-3.
Sophomore Iva Sepa defeated Baylor's Sierra Berry, 7-5, 6-3, and junior Gabriela Cortes knocked off Colorado's Anya Nelson, 6-4, 7-5.
