Houston Signs Nuutinen to 2024-25 Roster

Nuutinen will compete as a junior in 2024-25
HOUSTON – University of Houston Tennis Head Coach Katarina Adamovic announced the signing of transfer Heta Nuutinen from McNeese, on Tuesday.
"We're excited to welcome Heta to Houston and can't wait to start working with her," said Adamovic. "Her talent and energy will be a fantastic addition to our team, and we look forward to achieving great things together."
Before sitting out last season, Nuutinen was one of five players to record double-digit singles victories as she finished third on the team with 11 wins in 2023. The Heinola, Finland, native also earned five doubles victories with three of them coming on court three.
"I chose the University of Houston because of the coaches' vision for the future and the chance to compete at the highest level," said Nuutinen.
