Sepa joins former GCU teammates, Strombacha and Krokhotina in Houston
HOUSTON – University of Houston Tennis Head Coach Katarina Adamovic announced the signing of transfer Iva Sepa from Grand Canyon University on Thursday. Sepa will compete as a sophomore in 2024-25.
"I am incredibly excited for Iva to join us here at Houston," said Adamovic. "She is one of the most talented players and I am thrilled to have the chance to continue working with her. I have no doubt she will represent UH with excellence and I can't wait to see her shine in red."
The Belgrade, Serbia, native tallied 13 singles wins, including a 6-1 record on courts four and five. In 2024, Sepa compiled a 15-1 doubles record, including a point in the WAC Championship match.
"I chose the University of Houston because of its strong athletic programs and commitment to academic excellence, which will allow me to thrive both on the tennis court and in the classroom," said Sepa.
