Cougars Ink Two, Round Out Signing Class

Houston added to its 2024 class Wednesday to cap Fritz’s inaugural class
HOUSTON – University of Houston Football Head Coach Willie Fritz put the finishing touches on his first signing class Wednesday as running back J'Marion Burnette and punter Liam Dougherty inked National Letters of Intent with the Cougars.
Alongside December's Early Signing Period, the total pushes Houston's class to 36 members including 22 transfers and 14 high school standouts (three early enrollees). Click here to read more about each member of Houston's 2024 class.
On offense, the group consists of eight offensive linemen, four tight ends, three wide receivers, two running backs and one quarterback. Defensively, Houston welcomes seven defensive linemen, six defensive backs and three linebackers. The Cougars also added two specialists.
