Masters earns second senior national team call up
HOUSTON– Junior defender Jaden Masters has been called to represent the Bermuda Women's National Team for the 2023 Road to the W Gold Cup Group Stage matches during the September FIFA Women's match window.
"We are all very happy for Jaden on her recent selection to the Bermuda Women's National Team," Head Coach Jaime Frias said.
"There is no greater honor than to represent your country at the international level. We will miss Jaden, but we want to wish her the best as Bermuda prepares for its upcoming matches."
Bermuda will open the group stage at 5 p.m. (CT), Friday, against the Dominican Republic at the Dame Flora Duffy South Field Stadium in Hamilton, Bermuda.
"It's a blessing to be called up to the national team," Masters said. "We lost the last time we played against the Dominican Republic, so this will be a good test for us. We will have to work for the result we want, and I believe that we have a great group of girls coming together to achieve this goal of ours."
