Tackle The Heat: Houston Athletics Permits One Water Bottle, Adds Refilling Stations, Discounts for Saturday

Fans encouraged to take extra precaution ahead of UH Football's first two contests
HOUSTON – Fans are encouraged to "tackle the heat," take extra precautions and make extra preparations when preparing for the conditions ahead of Houston Football's Big 12 opener against TCU on Saturday at TDECU Stadium.
Each patron can bring in 1 clear, unopened plastic water bottle. In venue, water will be on sale for just $2 per bottle (normally $5.50). Fans are encouraged to begin hydrating 24 hours in advance of Saturday's 7 p.m. kickoff and drink plenty of water at TDECU Stadium.
Six free Water Monster refill stations will also be available throughout TDECU Stadium:
To beat the heat, consider:
As a precautionary measure, medics will be increased on site by approximately 20% in efforts to respond more quickly to any heat-related issues in and around TDECU Stadium. A total of 17 Emergency Medical Technicians (EMT) will also be on site.
TICKETS AND TAILGATING
Along with single-game tickets, which start as low as $20, fans can take advantage of seven-game packages beginning as low as $175, the Cougar Paw Package, Lone Star Packages, and more. New this season is the Family Four Pack, which includes 4 tickets, 4 hot dogs, and 4 drinks for the UTSA game for only $60. Tailgate Express is now selling tailgate packages and offering turnkey solutions for your pregame festivities this fall.

- Protecting your face and head with a brimmed hat.
- Protecting your eyes with sunglasses.
