Recommended Real-Time Routes Provided Ahead of 2023 Season

Houston Athletics engages Walter P Moore for traffic study to alleviate game day congestion
HOUSTON – As the University of Houston prepares for its inaugural Football season in the Big 12 Conference, fans are encouraged to arrive early and utilize recommended routes to TDECU Stadium as developed in conjunction with industry-leading experts at Walter P Moore.
Houston fans can best identify the recommended, real-time routes by downloading the Waze Navigation & Life Traffic app. Attendees can also locate those recommended routes to the Blue Lot, Green Lot, Red Lot, Platinum Lot, Orange Stadium Garage and Purple Garage by clicking here.
By entering a respective University of Houston parking lot into the navigation app, Waze uses satellite navigation software to match directional recommendations from WP Moore.
Fans can purchase available parking for each Houston home game by clicking here. Shuttle bus service will be provided on game day to assist spectators arriving to TDECU Stadium. There will be two shuttle routes, one servicing the east side of campus as well as one on the north end. To follow live tracking download the UH Go App or click here. Shuttle buses will run two (2) hours prior to kickoff and for one (1) hour after the game. A parking map with shuttle bus route can be found here. All shuttle buses are ADA accessible.
New easy-to-use, text-to-pay service from UH Parking and Transportation Services is also available this season. Numerous ungated surface lots have also been added to greatly expand fan parking options. Fans can learn more about text-to-pay parking by clicking here.
The lone cash-pay parking option will exist in the Gateway Garage located at 4259 Martin Luther King Blvd.
Fans can also take advantage of complimentary METRO rides on the red, green, or purple lines to and from all Cougar home Football games during the regular football season with proof of a game ticket or student identification. Fans using rideshare will be picked up and dropped off in front of Student Center South (4455 University Drive, Houston, Texas 77004).
