Soccer Announces Upcoming Camps

HOUSTON – University of Houston Soccer Head Coach Jaime Frias announced the return of elite ID camps and Nike summer camps in 2023. Camps are open to any and all entrants, limited only by number, age, grade and/or gender.

ELITE ID CAMPS
The Houston Elite ID Camps (April 23, June 17 and July 22) offers a chance for 8^th-12^th grade, junior college and four-year transfers currently in transfer portal (females) to be seen and learn from the Houston Soccer coaching staff.

Players will be exposed to the same training environment and curriculum used to develop top Division I athletes. Tactical Classroom Sessions will supplement the rich environment provided on the field. Feedback to the players surrounding game understanding and decision making will be given throughout the day.

ID Camps topics: field player and goalkeeper specific training, technical/tactical small sided games and 11v11 games.

NIKE SOCCER CAMPS
For boys and girls ages 6-13, Frias' staff will also be offering half day and full day Nike Soccer Camps (June 12-16 and July 10-14). The Nike Soccer Camps are geared towards player development & high-performance campers.

Players will work on mastering the proper fundamentals, techniques and advancing their overall skills and knowledge of the game. A great opportunity for players to learn through a mix of drills, games, and competitive play. All campers receive a Nike Soccer Camps t-shirt and other prizes.
