Houston adds 11 in total including nine mid-year players
HOUSTON – The University of Houston Football program welcomed two signees and announced nine mid-year roster additions as part of National Signing Day presented by Ford, head coach Dana Holgorsen revealed Wednesday.
Wide receiver Mikal Harrison-Pilot and defensive back Juwon Gaston will join the program for the Cougars' inaugural season in the Big 12 Conference. As part of Tuesday's schedule release, Houston will welcome league foes TCU (Sept. 16), West Virginia (Oct. 12), Texas (Oct. 21), Cincinnati (Nov. 11) and Oklahoma State (Nov. 18) to TDECU Stadium during the 2023 season in addition to home non-conference matchups against UTSA (Sept. 2) and Sam Houston (Sept. 23).
The group joins the 16 student-athletes Houston inked during the Early Signing Period in December.
