Chloe Adams, Jocelyn Alonzo and Laney Gonzales join Houston Soccer
HOUSTON – University of Houston Soccer Head Coach Jaime Frias announced the addition of Chloe Adams, Jocelyn Alonzo and Laney Gonzales to the 2024 roster on Tuesday.
"Overall, we are very excited about our incoming 2024 class," Frias said. "Adding Chloe, Laney and Jocelyn to a very talented incoming freshman group will enhance our team and push our program forward. Chloe, Laney and Jocelyn are extremely committed to their development as student-athletes. They are women of high character, value the benefits of a University of Houston degree and are driven to improve themselves and our culture. We can't wait to have them on campus this spring!"

At Memphis (2021-23): Tallied her first collegiate goal against SEMO (Aug. 19, 2021)… Scored the team's lone goal in a 1-1(2OT) draw against No. 23 Ole Miss (Aug. 22, 2021)… Assisted the game-winning goal in Memphis' 2-0 win over Tulsa (Oct. 7, 2021)… Netted the Tigers' goal in the AAC Semifinals against UCF (Oct. 31, 2021)… Recorded the final penalty kick to claim the American Athletic Conference Championship (Nov. 7, 2021)… Advance to the second round of the NCAA Tournament with her game-winning goal against LSU (Nov. 14, 2021)…Earned AAC Rookie of the Week honors Oct. 29… Named to the AAC All-Rookie Team… Finished second on the team with six goals and six assists… Scored the game-winning goal against ECU (Oct. 9, 2022)… Gathered AAC All-Conference Second Team and Academic Team honors...
