Women’s Basketball Unveils Promotional Schedule

2023-24 schedule poster to be given away at Friday's season opener vs. Air Force
HOUSTON– The University of Houston women's basketball program has announced its 2023-24 season promotional schedule. While some promotions run all season long, including student appreciation nights and weekend postgame meet & greets, most games also include giveaways or promotions of their own.

Friday, Nov. 10 | | Air Force | 2023-24 Home Opener
Houston opens the season at 7 p.m., Friday, against Air Force, where the first 1,000 fans in attendance will receive a 2023-24 schedule poster.
Tuesday, Nov. 14 | Sam Houston | Student Night
UH students in attendance on Tuesday, Nov. 14, against Sam Houston will receive free boba while supplies last and will be eligible to enter a raffle for select prizes throughout the game.
Sunday, Nov. 19 | | Grambling State | 713 Day
In the spirit of Thanksgiving, give thanks by donating to the canned food drive and, in exchange, receive free admission into the game against Grambling State.
Fans 12 and under can enjoy a postgame meet and greet on the court.
Sunday, Nov. 26 | | New Orleans | Pediatric Cancer Awareness Day
The Cougars host New Orleans during their Pediatric Cancer Awareness game, inviting fans to give back by donating towards the fight against Pediatric Cancer or donating to the toy drive.
Fans in attendance will also receive player cards while supplies last.
Wednesday, Nov. 29 | | Middle Tennessee | Way Back Wednesday/Study Break Night
Fans can come out and travel back in time as the Cougars take on Middle Tennessee at Fertitta Center. Fans wearing throwback outfits will be entered into a raffle for special prizes.
As UH students prepare for finals, free coffee will be available for students while supplies last and will be eligible to enter a raffle for select prizes throughout the game.
Saturday, Dec. 3 | Florida A&M | The Shasta Express/Teacher Appreciation
Join us for The Shasta Express/Teacher Appreciation Day as Houston takes on Florida A&M. Fans can enjoy a pregame meet & greet with Shasta Claus and a postgame meet & greet on the court with the team.
Teachers can receive discounted $2 tickets for the game with a valid ID.
Tuesday, Dec. 12 | Texas Southern | Education Day
Join the Cougars in welcoming students from the greater Houston area for Education Day. This event provides an opportunity for students to take an educational trip to the University of Houston and to live a college gameday experience.
Shasta Claus will also be in attendance for a pregame meet & greet.
Wednesday, Dec. 20 | Rice | Hoopin' for the Holidays
It's time to bust out the ugly sweaters as Houston closes out its non-conference schedule against Rice.
Fans wearing an ugly sweater can enter the ugly sweater contest to win a special prize and enjoy a pregame meet and greet with Shasta Claus.
Saturday, Dec. 30 | Texas Tech | Big 12 Home Opener (New Year, New Era)
Houston Women's Basketball enters a new era as it faces Texas Tech in its inaugural Big 12 home opener on Dec. 30.
Fans can purchase a special ticket deal to receive two tickets for $12 and an #EverythingMatters sticker while supplies last.
Wednesday, Jan. 10 | BYU | First Responders Night
Join the Cougars as they recognize First Responders against BYU. There will be discounted tickets available for First Responders along with an in-game recognition.
Saturday, Jan. 13 | TCU | Daughter Date Night/Camper Reunion
Calling all dads, daughters and summer campers to Houston's game against TCU. Fans can enjoy free face painting and inflatables during pregame.
Fans 12 and under can stick around postgame for a meet & greet on the court.
Saturday, Jan. 20 | Oklahoma | RED OUT (Kaila Chizer Remembrance)
Join the Cougars for the Red Out game on Jan. 20 against Oklahoma. Fans are encouraged to wear red and will receive a special KC44 sticker while supplies last.
Fans 12 and under can enjoy a postgame meet and greet on the court.
Tuesday, Jan. 30 | Cincinnati | Salute to Service
Houston welcomes Cincinnati to Fertitta Center for its Salute to Service game on Jan. 30. Discounted tickets for active/former military members will be available.
UH students can enter a raffle for prizes during the game.
Saturday, Feb. 4 | Baylor | Black Out
Come join the Cougars as they take on the Bears for their "Black Out" game, as fans in attendance will receive free black out t-shirts while supplies last.
Fans 12 and under can enjoy a postgame meet and greet on the court.
Wednesday, Feb. 14 | Texas | Coogs Couples Night
Celebrate Valentine's Day with the Cougars as they take on Texas for their lone matchup of the season against the Longhorns. Students can enter a raffle to receive select prizes during the game.
Wednesday, Feb. 21 | Iowa State | Celebrate Black History Month
Celebrate Black History Month with the Cougars and reflect on what this important month means to Houston Women's Basketball.
Saturday, March 2 | UCF | Senior Night
The Cougars will honor their senior class with a special pregame recognition before the program's home regular season finale at 7 p.m., against UCF.
