Tennis Takes on Big 12 Individual Championships

Cougars set for first Big 12 Competition in final fall tournament
HOUSTON – The University of Houston Tennis program returns to Waco, Texas, to compete in the Big 12 Individual Championships at the Hurd Tennis Center, beginning Thursday.
This is Houston's first action in a Big 12 competition since joining the conference on July, 1.
The Cougars are led by sophomore Sonya Kovalenko's six singles victories this fall. Nina Skoric and Sophie Schouten have both accumulated five singles wins of their own, with four others having recorded three wins.
