Cougars, Bears meet for 29th time in history of programs next Saturday in Waco
WACO, Texas – University of Houston Football's first visit to Baylor in nearly 30 years, set for Saturday, Nov. 4, inside McLane Stadium, will kick off at 2:30 p.m. CT and air on Big 12 Now on ESPN+, the Big 12 Conference announced Saturday.
The matchup will be the 29th all-time between the two programs and first since Oct. 14, 1995, at the Astrodome. The Bears lead the all-time series 14-13-1. The two teams, which first met on Sept. 30, 1950, faced off 20 times as co-members of the Southwest Conference (1976-95).
Fans making the short trip to Waco can join in on the excitement by taking part in UHAA's "Coogs on the Road" which will feature a Friday, Nov. 3, reception from 6-8 p.m. at Route 77 Food Park and Bar (1425 La Salle Street) and tailgate beginning three hours prior to kickoff on Saturday, Nov. 4, at the Texas Sports Hall of Fame (1108 University Parks Dr.).
