Glover to Serve as Coach at NACAC Senior Championships for USA

Olympian, assistant coach Sandra Glover selected as women’s sprints, hurdles coach
HOUSTON – The USA Track and Field team has selected Houston assistant coach Sandra Glover to serve as the women's sprints and hurdles coach at the NACAC Senior Championships.

The North American, Central American and Caribbean Championships (NACAC) is a continental track and field event organized by the North American, Central American and Caribbean Athletic Association and will be held from August 19-21 in Freeport, Bahamas.

The former Houston track and field standout is a four-time U.S. Champion, World Championship team member as well as an Olympian. She won four-straight U.S. titles from 1999-2002 and competed at the World Championships four times winning a silver medal in 2003 and a bronze medal in 2005. During the 2000 Olympic Games in Syndey, Australia, Glover represented the United States in the 400-meter hurdles. Glover joined the Houston track and field coaching staff for the 2021-22 season after serving as a volunteer coach.
