Cougars Plan Fun 2022 Promotions, Giveaways

HOUSTON − Houston volleyball opens its 2022 home slate with the 11th annual Flo Hyman Collegiate Cup Sept. 2-3 in Fertitta Center. The tournament will begin a season full of giveaways, promotions and ticket deals.

Sept. 2 – HISD Day
Join us at Fertitta Center for Opening Day's two matches against Central Arkansas and Alabama. Children with a bookmark from the Mayors Back event in August get in free and an accompanying parent can receive a $4 ticket (Alabama match only).

Sept. 3 – Celebrate Title IX
Watch the Cougars battle the Beavers in the Flo Hyman Cup finale. Adult tickets are just $9 for this match.

Sept. 18 – Alumni Day
Calling all Houston Athletics and Houston Volleyball alumni! Return to Cullen Blvd. and reconnect with fellow alumni and watch Houston take on High Point. All UH Athletics Alumni will receive discounted tickets.

Sept. 25 – Daddy-Daughter Day
Go on a Daddy-Daughter date to Fertitta Center as the Cougars open their home conference schedule. Dads and daughters will receive a special ticket package.

Oct. 7 – Local Heroes Day / Dorm Challenge
Let's celebrate and thank the thankless work our first responders, members of the military and essential workers do. All first responders, members of the military, and essential workers get a FREE ticket.

Is your dorm the most spirited? The dorm with the most attendees will receive free Tiffs Treats for the whole dorm!

Oct. 9 – Hispanic Heritage Night
Honor your Hispanic heritage with pride as the Cougars take on South Florida. All Hispanic Alumni Association members receive discounted tickets to the match.

Oct. 21 – Dig Pink
October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month and there is still awareness, funding and research to do to block cancer. Any donations to the Side-Out Foundation will receive free admission to the match.

Oct. 21 – Princess and the Coog
Ever wanted to make your own crown or tiara? Come sparkle and shine as princesses with a photo booth and crown-making station. All children 12 and under get in FREE.

Oct. 28 – Nightmare on Holman Street II
A spooky night on Holman Street as Halloween looms with a creepy invitation to pre-match trick or treat on the concourse.

Oct. 30 – Camper Reunion
A second spooky night on Holman Street as Halloween looms with a creepy invitation to pre-match trick or treat again on the concourse. Kids in their Halloween costumes get FREE admission.

Nov. 2 – Fertitta Fest
Calling all Cougars! Join the volleyball team and fellow UH students for Fertitta Fest against Tulane with a special buy one-get one ticket promotion, pre-match festival games and raffle prizes for students.

Giveaway: TBD food for UH students.

Nov. 18 – Senior Weekend / Canned Food Drive
Help fight hunger with a canned food drive before one of our final home matches of the year. Donate food and receive free admission into the match against Memphis. All fans are invited to participate in a pre-match high five tunnel for the Cougars to run through!

Nov. 20 – Senior Weekend
Send the seniors off into the sunset with a pre-match senior ceremony and post-match autographs.
