Taylor Finishes 10th in 100-Meter Hurdles Semifinals

Naomi Taylor completes college career with career-best in semifinals
EUGENE, Ore. – Senior Naomi Taylor recorded a 10th place overall finish in the semifinals of the women's 100-meter hurdles on Thursday at Hayward Field.Â
Taylor's 10th place finish was one place shy of advancing to finals and two-hundredths of a second behind the last qualifier. Despite missing finals, she clocked a career-best 12.97 in the event.Â
UP NEXT
Houston will compete for the NCAA Championship title on Friday afternoon at Hayward Field. The men's 4x100-meter relay will race at 6:02 p.m. PT, Shaun Maswanganyi will then compete in the 100-meter finals at 6:52 p.m. CT before Quivell Jordan-Bacot races in the 400-meter hurdles at 7:27 p.m. PT. Maswanganyi will then close out the competition by competing in the men's 200-meter at 7:37 p.m. PT. All the events can be watched on ESPN2.
