Todd Earns All-Region Honors

Right-handed pitcher’s career-best season honored by NFCA region coaches
HOUSTON – Graduate pitcher Hannah Todd encapsulated her University of Houston career with National Fastpitch Coaches Association All-Central Region honors, the organization announced on Thursday.
The right-handed pitcher earned her first All-Region award after finishing the season with a team-best 2.54 ERA, a team-high 11 wins and team-high 36 appearances while throwing seven complete games and posting three total shutouts, two of which were solo.

Todd pitched even better against the top 75 teams in the country, posting a 2.42 ERA against Top 75 RPI teams with four complete games, a save and an opponent batting average of .239.
Two of the righties complete game against Top 75 opponents needed extra innings to be decided. Todd's career-high 9.0 inning complete game against Boise State was the start of a nine-game home winning streak for the Cougars and her 8.0 inning complete game against Texas A&M helped catapult the Cougars into the American Athletic Conference Softball Championship.
Todd finished her career with a 14-16 record, 3.70 ERA, 195.0 innings pitched and 96 strikeouts. Todd pitched one season at North Carolina before playing three seasons at Kansas. Todd's career-best season in 2022 was the only season where she donned the scarlet and white.
