
Women’s Golf Finishes Play at MountainView Collegiate

Senior Annie Kim ties for 13th at 3-under 213 to lead Cougars
TUCSON, Ariz. – The University of Houston Women's Golf program posted a score of 295 in Sunday's Final Round at the MountainView Collegiate to finish 12th with a three-day total of 877.
Senior Annie Kim led the Cougars with a score of 3-under 213 to tie for 18th on the 6,210-yard, par-72 course. It was her second straight Top-20 showing.
Sophomore Delaney Martin posted the team's low round of the day with a 70 Sunday and tied for 46th at 222. Starting her day off No. 12, the Boerne, Texas, native endured three bogeys with an eagle on the par-5 15th in her first five holes.
Following four straight pars, Martin rallied with four birdies in her final nine holes to finish under par for the day.
Senior Ariana Saenz tied for 42nd at 221, while sophomore Nicole Abelar tied for 70th at 229. Senior Maria Jose Martinez tied for 74th at 231.
Texas Tech captured the team championship with a score of 839 to finish one stroke ahead of San Jose State. Oklahoma State finished third at 847, while Oklahoma and Texas A&M tied for fourth at 853.
Arkansas' Kajal Mistry earned medalist honors with a score of 10-under 206. San Jose State's Natasha Oon finished second at 207, while Caitlyn Macnab (TCU), Gala Dumez (Texas Tech), Annabell Fuller (Florida), Audrey Tan (North Texas) and Lucia Lopez-Ortega (San Jose State) tied for third at 208.
This was Houston's second event of the spring season.
