Schulte’s Power Bat Garners Honors

Second baseman drives in 8 RBI on 7 hits, 3 home runs
HOUSTON – Houston's Becca Schulte hit three home runs and drove in eight runs over five games March 10-13 on her way to The American Player of the Week honors on Monday.
The award is the first conference player of the week honor for Schulte in her NCAA career. Schulte is the first Cougar in 2022 to win Player of the Week honors.
Schulte is now tied for the most home runs in The American (9), ranks ninth in average (.344), third in slugging (.813) and second in RBI (25).
The Cougars' second baseman has now homered in three-straight games.
