New Promotions, Themes Unveiled for Season

HOUSTON – Houston Baseball has announced new and exciting promotions for the 2022 season from Sanders Field at Schroeder Park.

Each Tuesday is 2 Dollar Tuesday where fans can buy $2 tickets at the box office on game day as well as $2 nachos at the concession stands.
Fridays at the ballpark are 713 Night where fans can buy $7 tickets at the box office and $7.13 Tex-Mex Nachos. Fans also have a chance to win gift cards as part of Tennis Ball Toss every Friday night during conference play.
Houston Baseball has partnered with Raising Cane's for the 2022 season. When the Cougars win on Saturdays, all fans will receive a coupon for a Buy One, Get One Free Box Combo.
Come out for Kids Day and Family Day at the ballpark on Sundays. Kids (12 and under) get in free with their youth jersey and may run the bases postgame. All fans can score autographs from their favorite players and $5 hot dog and soda combos from the concession stands.

Feb. 25-27 – Home Opening Weekend
Come out to the ballpark for a pair of in-state programs in Texas Southern and UTRGV. In addition to our daily promotions, fans who come over from the Fertitta Center on Sunday will receive free admission for showing their Houston men's basketball tickets vs SMU.

March 4-6 – Bark in the Park Weekend presented by Raising Cane's
Bring your four-legged friends for Bark in the Park weekend as Houston hosts Incarnate Word. Dog bowls will be given away all weekend for your furry friends.

March 18-20 – Hometown Heroes Weekend
Help Houston Baseball celebrate our local first responders all weekend when the Cougars face Columbia. Each night fans can purchase and donate a ticket for first responders who have made an impact in our community.

March 25-27 – Kids Weekend
Join us for Kids Weekend as the Cougars host Western Carolina. All weekend, Baseball campers get in free with their Camp T-Shirt. On Saturday, Replica youth Jerseys will be given away to all kids.

April 1-3 – 75 Year Celebration
Houston Baseball will celebrate 75 years of Houston Athletics when Wichita State comes to town. On Saturday, 75 Year Coke Bottles will be given away to all fans.

April 14-16 – Alumni Weekend presented by Ford – Official Truck and SUV of Houston Athletics
Alumni are welcomed back to Houston for a weekend series against Tulane. Thursday is International Student Night. On Saturday, Foam Hammers sponsored by the Alumni Association will be given away followed by a postgame Easter Egg Hunt.

April 22-24 – Student Appreciation Weekend presented by Whataburger
Houston Students are encouraged to come out for Student Appreciation Weekend when rival Memphis pays a visit.

May 13-15 – Fan Appreciation Weekend presented by UHAA
Houston will hold Fan Appreciation Weekend when UCF comes to town for the final home series of the year. On Friday, Houston Baseball will celebrate the West U LL Champions. On Saturday, Houston Baseball lanyards will be given away.

Houston Athletics also thanks ICON Information Consultants (May 4) and Little Woodrow's (May 17) for their sponsorship of the Cougars' matchups against cross-town rival Rice.
