
Cougars Add Two Signees, Announce New Roster Additions

Houston rounds out class with eight additions Wednesday

Houston's pair of signees on Wednesday who will join the program for the upcoming 2022 season included tight end Logan Compton and offensive lineman Tevin Shaw.

UH also welcomed six newcomers to its roster with the additions of cornerback Abdul-Lateef Audu, wide receiver Sam Brown, linebacker Trimarcus Cheeks, wide receiver Joseph Manjack IV, defensive lineman Zy Strong and linebacker Jamal Morris.

The group joins the Cougars' 10-member signing class from December and is comprised of 18 total student-athletes -- six junior college transfers, four Division I transfers and eight high school seniors.Â

Members of Houston's class hail from six different states. The state of Texas is represented by 12 signees.
