Freshman enjoyed record-setting fall in her first collegiate season
HOUSTON – After an impressive fall semester in her collegiate debut season, University of Houston Women's Golf freshman Natalie Saint Germain was ranked among the Palmer Cup's Top 20 in the first Fall rankings for the International Team on Thursday.
Through four fall tournaments, Saint Germain leads the Cougars with a 70.50 scoring average and five rounds in the 60s and stands second on the team with seven rounds of par or better. She finished among the Cougars' Top-Two individual leaders in all four events.
The Prague native earned three Top-10 finishes during the fall season, including a fourth-place showing at the Mo'Morial Invitational on Sept. 20-21 in the first collegiate tournament of her career.
Saint Germain followed that performance with a 10th-place showing at the Schooner Fall Classic, where she set a school record with a 64 in the Final Round. She topped the previous 18-hole low of 65 set by Ariana Saenz and Leonie Harm.
