Six-Day Window Exercised for ECU Matchup

Cougars, Pirates contest to be finalized following Nov. 12 matchups
HOUSTON – The American Athletic Conference has announced that ESPN will utilize a six-day window to determine the broadcast network and time slot for the University of Houston's Saturday, Nov. 19 matchup at East Carolina from Greenville, N.C.
The Cougars and Pirates will kick at either 10 a.m. CT on ESPN2, 3 p.m. CT on ESPNU or a to-be-determined time on ESPN+. An announcement will come following the completion of Nov. 12 games.
The contest will be the 16th all-time between the programs with the Cougars holding an 8-7 advantage including a thrilling 31-24 overtime victory a season ago. The Cougars are 4-3 all-time at East Carolina and are making their first visit to Dowdy-Ficklen Stadium since knocking off the Pirates, 42-20, on Oct. 13, 2018.

Houston hosts Temple at 2 p.m. Saturday from TDECU Stadium. The matchup against the Owls will serve as Heroes Night with a special $15 ticket available as a portion of the proceeds will be donated to Merging Vets & Players (MVP). Fans may purchase tickets by clicking here.
