Jones’s heroics a throwback to Houston days as Patriots slip past Jets
HOUSTON – Houston standout Marcus Jones, the 2021 Paul Hornung Award Winner, returned a punt 84 yards for a touchdown in the final seconds, lifting the Patriots to a thrilling victory while highlighting Cougars in the NFL during Week 11.

- Jones made the start at left tackle against San Francisco as part of the 2022 Mexico City Game from Azteca Stadium in Mexico City. Jones played in all 71 offensive snaps.
Marcus Jones | New England Patriots | W, 10-3 vs. Jets
- Jones delivered an 84-yard go-ahead punt return touchdown with seconds remaining to lift the Patriots to a 10-3 win against the Jets. Jones's 84-yard punt return touchdown was the second longest go-ahead 4th quarter touchdown in team history and had Houston fans thinking back to the former Houston standout's 100-yard kickoff return touchdown against SMU a season ago. - Keenum did not play in Buffalo's win against Cleveland in Detroit.
Ed Oliver | Buffalo Bills | W, 31-23 vs. Browns
- Making the start at defensive tackle, Oliver registered 5.0 tackles including matching a team high with 3.0 tackles for loss alongside one quarterback hit. Oliver's 3.0 tackles for loss were a career high while his five tackles were his most since Week 10 of the 2020 season.

- Roberts and the Dolphins return to action on Sunday at noon CT against the Texans.
Kody Russey | New England Patriots | W, 10-3 vs. Jets
- Russey was added to the 53-man roster but did not play against New York.
Marquez Stevenson | Buffalo Bills | W, 31-23 vs. Browns
- The Bills opened Stevenson's 21-day practice window. The wideout has been on the injured reserve since the start of the season with a foot injury.
Grant Stuard | Indianapolis Colts | L, 17-16 vs. Eagles
- Stuard played on 64% of special teams' snaps (16 total) in the Colts' 17-16 loss.
Payton Turner | New Orleans Saints | W, 27-20 vs. Rams
- Turner left Sunday's game with an ankle injury. He played in 13 snaps defensively and one on special teams while contributing 1.0 tackle, a tackle for loss and a quarterback hit.
Damarion Williams | Baltimore Ravens | W, 13-3 vs. Panthers
- Williams played five special teams' snaps in Baltimore's 13-3 victory.
Brandon Wilson | Cincinnati Bengals | W, 37-30 vs. Steelers
- The Bengals have cleared Wilson (reserve/physically unable to perform list) to resume practicing. The sixth-year player was placed on the Reserve/PUP list on Aug. 23 with a knee injury.
