Cougars continue fall action competing Friday through Sunday
WACO, Texas – The University of Houston tennis program will travel to central Texas for the Baylor Invite and will compete Friday through Sunday at the Hurd Tennis Center.

The Cougars competed at the ITA Division I Women's Texas Regional Championship Tournament in Fort Worth in late September with eight Cougars seeing action throughout the tournament.Â
Â
Doubles pair Gabriela Cortes and Elena Trencheva reached the Doubles Round of 16 falling 8-3 against Brandelyn Fulgenzi and Lauren Fulgenzi (UIW). Senior Azul Pedemonti and freshman Sonya Kovalenko were the two Cougars to advance to the Singles Main Draw Round 32. Freshman Sophie Schouten advanced to the Singles Consolation Round of 16.

The Cougars will close out fall action at the Rice Invitational from Nov. 3-Nov. 5 from the George R. Brown Tennis Center on the campus of Rice.
