Houston alums make playoff push as regular season winds down
HOUSTON – Several former Houston Football student-athletes made key contributions to their respective teams as the NFL season continued last Thursday Night.

- Adams appeared in 19 special team snaps, recording one tackle to help the Colts defeat the Cardinals 22-16 on Saturday.
- Allen completed 8-of-10 passes for 67 yards and a touchdown during Washington's 56-14 loss to Dallas.
- Bowser appeared in a season-high 70 snaps on Sunday, recording four tackles as the Ravens suffered a 41-21 loss to the Bengals.
- Egbule was back in Houston and appeared in a season-high 32 snaps on defense and special teams recording one tackle as the Chargers lost 41-29 to the Texans.
- Jackson was inactive for Sunday's game against Dallas due to an ankle injury suffered against Philadelphia.
- Member of the practice squad.
- Jones once again played every offensive snap, but the Cardinals came up short in a 22-16 loss to the Colts.
- Keenum did not appear in the Browns' 24-22 loss to the Packers.
- Oliver appeared in 43 defensive snaps and recorded his first full sack of the season to go along with four tackles and two quarterback hits in the Bills' 33-21 win over the Patriots.
- Roberts started at linebacker, matching a season high with seven tackles while playing 36 snaps, including 34 on defense, as Miami defeated New Orleans, 20-3 on Monday for its seventh straight victory.
- Stevenson had five total punt and kick return opportunities turning in 83 total yards to help the Bills avenge their loss to the Patriots two weeks ago with a 33-21 win.
- Stuard appeared in a season-high 32 snaps on defense and special teams, recording a career high four tackles as the Buccaneers won 32-6 over the Panthers to secure their first NFC South title since 2007.
- Turner did not play in New Orleans' 20-3 loss to Miami on Monday night.
- Ward appeared in 11 snaps on offense and special teams as the Eagles won in blowout fashion, 34-10 over the Giants.
- Wilson suffered a torn ACL in the Week 9 matchup against the Browns and will miss the remainder of the season.
