Houston Adds Future Non-Conference Series

Cougars host Sam Houston in pair of matchups
HOUSTON – Houston Football will host Sam Houston in a pair of future non-conference contests at TDECU Stadium, Vice President for Athletics Chris Pezman announced Friday.
"The opportunity, where we can, to schedule in-state opponents remains a priority for us," Pezman said. "As a result, we're pleased to get these quality games on our schedule."
The Cougars will take on the Bearkats at TDECU Stadium on Sept. 23, 2023, as well as on Sept. 16, 2028. Houston holds a 4-2 all-time advantage and has won four straight against Sam Houston including a 31-10 result in the last matchup (Sept. 10, 2005).
