Houston Unveils Fall Schedule

Cougars open fall season with 4 p.m., Oct. 6 doubleheader vs. San Jacinto JC at Cougar Softball Stadium
HOUSTON – The University of Houston Softball program will play eight games over five dates in the month of October during its fall season, Head Coach Kristin Vesely announced Tuesday.
The fall season begins with a 4 p.m., Oct. 6 doubleheader against San Jacinto College at Cougar Softball Stadium. From there, Houston heads east on Interstate 10 to meet Lamar in a twinbill at 2 p.m., Oct. 9, in Beaumont, Texas.
The Cougars return to Cougar Softball Stadium to take on Blinn College in a 4 p.m., doubleheader on Oct. 12 and then take on LSU at 4 p.m., in a single game at Collins Park in Spring, Texas (6727 Cypresswood Dr., Spring, TX 77379).
Houston closes out its fall campaign when it plays host to Galveston College at 6 p.m., Oct. 20, in a single game inside Cougar Softball Stadium.

In 2020, Houston Softball enjoyed a 4-2 win over No. 7 Oklahoma State in Oklahoma City and split a regular-season series on the road at rv/rv Baylor.
Senior outfielder Bethany Busch returns as the Cougars' leading hitter from a year ago after posting a .314 batting average with nine doubles and 15 stolen bases in 16 attempts. Junior infielder Britaney Shaw and senior catcher Kati Ray Brown each blasted seven home runs to stand second among the Cougars in 2021.
Houston will announce its 2022 schedule in soon.
