Cougars make pair of staff changes
HOUSTON – The University of Houston Women's Basketball program announced two changes to its staff on Monday afternoon.
Jayda Hill will join the staff as Director of Recruiting and Creative Content, and Erien Watson has been promoted to the Director of Basketball Operations.
Hill comes to Houston from Illinois where she was a journalist for the Quincy Media Company, following a stint with the Sinclair Broadcast Group in Reno, Nevada. A 2018 graduate of the University of Central Missouri, Hill was also a member of the UCM women's track & field team. Hill received her master's degree at UCM, graduating in May of 2020.
Throughout her career, Hill has won numerous awards. In 2017, the Missouri Broadcast Educators Association awarded her with first-place accolades in the College Sports Show category. The following year she was the winner in the College Video Sports Package category.
Watson enters her third season with the Houston Women's Basketball team and was formerly the Director of External Operations.
