HOUSTON – The celebration of "75 Years of Houston Athletics" will feature a return to normal gameday operations for fans in 2021. University of Houston Vice President for Athletics Chris Pezman announced on Tuesday the return of full capacity attendance for TDECU Stadium, Fertitta Center and all other UH athletics venues beginning on Aug. 1, 2021.
This follows the University of Houston's earlier announcement of a phased approach to returning all campus facilities to 100 percent capacity by Aug. 1.

"We are grateful for the tremendous support and dedication of our University leadership, medical officials, team doctors and athletic trainers for helping us safely navigate the various challenges over the past year," Pezman said. "We look forward to returning to full capacity beginning this August and welcoming back all our loyal Cougar fans that help us create the best home-field advantage for our student-athletes."
UH Athletics will continue to operate its venues in a safe and prudent manner for the 2021-22 season; including encouraging fans to utilize hand sanitizing stations inside UH Athletics facilities along with expanded gameday safety enhancements including cashless and contactless payment options, mobile ticketing and digital gameday publications.
