Henderson Named to All-Tournament Team

Junior outside hitter notched 19 kills
CINCINNATI – University of Houston junior outside hitter Kortlyn Henderson was named to the American Athletic Conference Championship All-Tournament Team, the league announced Saturday.
In Houston's semifinal matchup with Temple, Henderson erupted with a match-high 19 kills against the Owls, having posted a .395 hitting percentage in the process. The Waco, Texas, native committed just four errors off of 38 attempts, resulting in her .395 clip, which was the third-highest mark by a Houston player this season.
Joining Henderson on the All-Tournament Team was McKenna Melville, Anne-Marie Watson and Nerissa Moravec of UCF, Gem Grimshaw and Tyler Lindgren of Temple, and Lexie Douglas of Tulane. Melville was awarded the tournament's Most Outstanding Player.
