Friday’s Opener Postponed

Houston, USF to play pair of weekend doubleheaders
HOUSTON – Due to scattered storms in the Houston area, the University of Houston and USF have jointly agreed to postpone Friday's series opener.
The teams open the four-game set with a Saturday doubleheader beginning at noon from Don Sanders Field at Darryl & Lori Schroeder Park. The second game will start 45 minutes following its conclusion. Both contests will be nine innings.
The squads will play a doubleheader Sunday beginning at 10 a.m. with the first contest scheduled for seven innings per American Athletic Conference policy. The series finale, which will begin 45 minutes following the opener's conclusion, will be nine innings.
