Turner shines in limited time to highlight latest in pro ranks
HOUSTON – Several former Houston Football student-athletes made key contributions to their respective teams as the NFL season continued last Thursday night.

- Adams appeared in 21 special teams snaps as the Colts won in a high-scoring affair 45-30 over the Jets.
- Allen and his teammates did not play this weekend, but they will resume competition next Sunday when they host the defending champion Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
- Bowser recorded five tackles with one of those being for loss as well as flashing coverage skills via a pass deflection in the Ravens' 34-31 overtime victory against the Vikings.
- Egbule did not appear in the Chargers' 27-24 win over the Eagles.
- Jackson and the rest of his Washington team were on bye this weekend. Jackson continues to rehab his injured knee.
- Member of the practice squad.
- Jones' five-week streak of not missing an offensive snap was broken this past weekend, yet despite a barrage of injuries the Cardinals were victorious 31-17 over the 49ers.
- Keenum entered in for relief duty as the Browns won 41-17 over the Bengals in the battle for Ohio.
- Oliver appeared in 36 defensive snaps while recording one tackle in the Bills' 9-6 loss to the Jaguars.
- Roberts was tied for the team lead with seven tackles as the Dolphins snapped a seven-game losing streak with a 17-9 win over the Texans.
- Stevenson continues rehab on the injured reserve. The Bills lost 9-6 to the Jaguars.
- Stuard and the rest of the Buccaneers were off for the weekend but will resume play when they travel to Washington on Sunday.
- Turner only appeared in 17 snaps, but he made them count recording three tackles as the Saints lost 27-25 to the Falcons.
- Ward appeared in eight snaps on offense and special teams and recorded his first career kickoff return attempt in the Eagles 27-24 loss to the Chargers.
- Wilson had two kickoff return attempts for 35 yards but was forced to leave the game early with a knee injury as the Bengals fell 41-17 to the Browns.
