Houston alums log impressive weekend at pro ranks
HOUSTON – Several former Houston Football student-athletes made key contributions to their respective teams as the NFL season crossed the halfway point last Thursday night.

- Adams played in a season high 27 snaps recording two tackles in the Colts 23-17 win over the Jaguars.
- Allen did not appear in Washington's 29-19 upset win over the Buccaneers.
- Bowser recorded one tackle but was a consistent presence in the backfield with three quarterback hits as the Ravens fell 22-10 to the Dolphins on Thursday night.
- Egbule did not appear in the Chargers 27-20 loss to the Vikings.
- Jackson returned from a knee injury that had him sidelined the last few weeks in a big way recording three tackles and an interception off Tom Brady to help Washington win 29-19 over Tampa Bay.
- Member of the practice squad.
- Jones once again appeared in every Cardinals offensive snap, but the injury-riddled Cardinals fell 34-10 to the Panthers.
- Keenum came in after a knee injury placed staring quarterback Baker Mayfield on the sideline, and he would complete 8-of-12 passes for 81 yards as the Browns lost 45-7 to the Patriots.
- Oliver was a thorn in the Jets side all day recording one tackle to go along with three quarterback hits and a pass deflection as the Bills rolled to a 45-17 win over the Jets.
- Roberts was all over the field Thursday night recording six tackles. He also registered his first sack of the season as the Dolphins won 22-10 over the Ravens.
- Stevenson continues to rehab his injury on the injured reserve as the Bills won 45-17 over the Jets.
- Stuard appeared in 16 snaps on special teams, recording one tackle as the Buccaneers lost 29-19 to the Washington Football Team.
- Turner continues to battle injuries in his rookie campaign as the Saints placed their first-round pick on injured reserve with a shoulder injury.
- Ward appeared in 12 snaps on offense and special teams as the Eagles win 30-13 over the Broncos.
- Wilson had a much needed bye week this past weekend that should help him recover from the injury that forced him to leave the week 9 contest early.
