Natalie Saint Germain Joins Women’s Golf on Signing Day

Will compete as freshman with the Cougars in 2022-23
HOUSTON – Natalie Saint Germain became the newest member of the University of Houston Women's Golf program after signing a National Letter of Intent, Carolyn Macow Leatherwood Head Coach Lydia Gumm announced Wednesday.Saint Germain will compete as a freshman beginning in 2022-23 and have four years of eligibility remaining.
"Natalie is one of the top recruits to come to Houston. She is an outstanding player and a great person," said Gumm, who is in her first season as head coach with the Cougars. "Throughout her career, Natalie has been an accurate and consistent player. We are very excited to get her here on campus."
A native of Prague, Saint Germain brings an impressive playing career into Houston. She has been a member of the Czech Republic National Team since 2018 and stands at No. 480 in the current World Amateur Golf Rankings.
In 2021, she helped lead the Czech National Team to a fifth-place finish at the European Team Championship and finished 10th individually at that event. Saint Germain also finished among the Top 10 leaders at the Czech International Amateur Championship and was 20th at the German Girls Open.
She was recognized as the Player of the Year for her age category in 2019 and has won three Czech Amateur events during her career. Saint Germain also posted a Top-10 showing at the Austrian International Amateur Championship.
