Gauntt clocks top 10 finish at UAH Charger Invite

Darby Gauntt finished 10th in the women's 5K on Saturday
HUNTSVILLE, Al. – The Houston cross country grabbed a top 10 time as Darby Gauntt finished 10th in the women's 5K at the UAH Charger XC Invite on Saturday at John Hunt Cross Country Park.
Gauntt 17:44.06 finish was her third consecutive week she has finished in the top 10 in the 5K. Madeline Castleberry grabbed the 29th spot with a time of 18:10.74 while Sondos Moursy claimed the 66th spot with an 18:54.42.
Devin Vallejo placed 23rd in the men's 8K with a time of 24:33.84 while Brandon Seagraves clocked a 24:47.05 for 37th.
The Cougars now turn their attention to the American Athletic Conference Championships on Friday, October 29. The Championship will take place in Lakeland, Florida with start times to be announced at a later time.
