Vote for Houston Football’s Team of the Decade – The 2010’s

HOUSTON – Fans are encouraged to visit UHCougars.com to vote for the Houston football "Team of the Decade" for the 2010's.
Fans can vote beginning July 6 on UHCougars.com for two weeks. The full team will be announced in late July.
The team will consist of 25 players – 11 on offense, 11 on defense and three specialists.
During the decade of 2010-19, the Cougars won the 2015 American Athletic Conference Championship and the 2015 Peach Bowl. Houston also added a C-USA West Division title in 2011, made seven bowl appearances and produced a record of 80-48.
Six players earned All-America honors during the decade, including: quarterback Case Keenum, linebacker Sammy Brown, wide receiver/punt returner Patrick Edwards, defensive lineman Ed Oliver, punter Richie Leonie and punter Dane Roy.
Defensive tackle Ed Oliver became Houston's third major award winner as he earned the 2017 Outland Trophy. Oliver was also the 2016 American Athletic Conference Defensive Newcomer of the Year and a three-time All-American.
The decade also saw three other finalists for major awards: Case Keenum (Davey O'Brien, 2011), Ed Oliver (Nagurski, 2017) and Dane Roy (Ray Guy, 2019).
During the decade, 30 players earned 32 first-team all-conference honors.
