Taylor Scaife Earns Field Athlete of the Week

Scaife sits 14th nationally in the weight throw
HOUSTON – Houston senior Taylor Scaife caps off a stellar week of action at the Houston G5 & Super 22 Invitational with American Athletic Conference Field Athlete of the Week honors.

With her second consecutive victory this season in as many outings in the women's weight throw, Scaife earns the Cougars sixth weekly honor of the season. The senior thrower won the women's weight throw this past weekend with a mark of 69-9.75 (21.28m), her second straight first-place finish of the season.

Scaife now sits 14th nationally and second in The American in the event. The award marks her first weekly accolade of the season and second of her career.
