"We are excited to welcome Tyler and his wife, Mary Turner, to the Houston Athletics Family. He has been a part of outstanding Communications teams at Oklahoma and Auburn and brings great energy and experience to Houston," Pezman said. "We look forward to his leadership of our Strategic Communications team and his collaboration with all our External units as we promote the great work of our student-athletes and coaches across all media platforms."
"I'm excited and honored to be a part of the University of Houston. I would like to thank Chris Pezman and David Tagliarino for allowing me to have this exciting opportunity as we seek to tell compelling stories about our student-athletes and their success," Pigg said. "There's a passion for the pursuit of excellence within the Houston Athletics family and I am excited be a part of the future of this program."
