Cougars meet Washington State at 8:15 p.m., Sept. 13, in AdvoCare Texas Kickoff in NRG Stadium
HOUSTON – With the 2019 season drawing closer, the University of Houston Football program announced five game times and networks on its schedule on Thursday.
The Cougars' home opener against Prairie View A&M inside TDECU Stadium will kick off at 7 p.m., Sept 7, and air on ESPN3.
Houston will face Washington State at 8:15 p.m., Friday, Sept. 13, in the seventh AdvoCare Texas Kickoff inside NRG Stadium. That game will be shown nationally on ESPN.
The Cougars' showdown against American Athletic Conference rival Tulane will air at 7 p.m., Thursday, Sept. 19, in New Orleans and air on ESPN.
Houston meets North Texas at 7 p.m., Saturday, Sept. 28, in Denton, Texas. Produced by CBS Sports Network, that game will air exclusively on Facebook.
The Cougars square off against American Athletic Conference rival SMU inside TDECU Stadium at 6:30 p.m., Thursday, Oct. 24. That game can be seen on ESPN.

Houston begins a new era in 2019 with Head Coach Dana Holgorsen entering his first season with the Cougars after an eight-year career at West Virginia. He served as offensive coordinator with the Cougars in 2008-09, leading some of the nation's most prolific offenses.
Quarterback D'Eriq King returns for his senior season after setting the American Athletic Conference single-season record with 50 touchdowns responsible for (36 pass, 14 rush), despite missing the last 2.5 games with injury.
The Manvel, Texas, native led the nation with 27.5 points responsible for per game and became one of only three quarterbacks in Football Bowl Subdivision history with 35 passing touchdowns and 13 rushing touchdowns in a single season,
Houston kicks off the 2019 season when it meets Oklahoma at 6:30 p.m., Sunday, Sept. 1, in Norman, Okla. That game will be shown on ABC.
