Eleven Houston Entries for NCAA Championships

Houston men claim seven entries for March 8-9 meet as Houston women claim four entries
HOUSTON – The University of Houston will be represented with 11 entries at the 2019 NCAA Indoor Track & Field Championships as the NCAA announced its 2019 field Tuesday night.
The Houston men will enter the national meet with seven entries while the Houston women will head to Birmingham, Ala., with four entries.
The NCAA field consists of the top 16 athletes in each individual event and the top 12 teams in relays.
Ranked No. 5 in the latest USTFCCCA national rankings, the Houston men will account for seven entries in the NCAA field.
Select Houston student-athletes will head to Birmingham, March 8-9, for the NCAA Indoor Track & Field Championships. The top 16 athletes nationally in each event, along with the top 12 relays, will qualify for the event.
