
Houston Debuts at No. 35 in Preseason Rankings

Cougars open 2020 vs. Youngstown State, Feb. 14-16
HOUSTON -- The University of Houston Baseball team is ranked No. 35 in the Collegiate Baseball Newspaper's Fabulous 40 announced Monday.
The preseason ranking is the first for the Cougars by CBN since the 2018 season. Houston was receiving votes in the 2019 preseason poll.
The Cougars, who return 20 players from last season, enter their 10th season under 300-game winner Todd Whitting. Houston was 32-24 overall and 12-12 in American Athletic Conference play in 2019.
The Cougars open their 2020 slate hosting Youngstown State across Feb. 14-16 at Sanders Field at Schroeder Park.

Season tickets for the 2020 University of Houston Baseball season are on sale, and fans have the opportunity to renew and/or purchase tickets to games Don Sanders Field at Darryl & Lori Schroeder Park starting for $100.
