San Juan, P.R.-Colegio San Ignacio de Loyola
Aranguren has enjoyed tremendous success on the junior circuit during his career.
In 2019, won titles at the Puerto Rico Junior National Championship and the Puerto Rico Amateur National Championship, becoming the first Puerto Rican junior to capture both crowns in the same year.

"Andres has multiple wins as a junior golfer and at the amateur level. He is a big guy with a lot of speed, but he has a great all-around game," Dismuke said "Andres hits it far but still has a lot of touch around the greens. We are excited to have him as part of our program."
In 2017, he earned medalist honors at the Caribbean Junior Championship. He also won championships at Puerto Rico Junior National Championship and the Caribbean Junior Championship, both in 2015.
Aranguren was a six-year member of the varsity team, joining the squad in seventh grade, and was named team captain as a junior and senior.
Off the course, Aranguren was a member of the National Honor Society for his final four years of school and served as vice president of his senior class.
